Puppies & Pooches On Parade
Puppies & Pooches On Parade is the annual major fundraising event for the Friends of NWPL. It is a fun event held on the last Saturday in August on the Woodstock Village Green. Participants enter into a competition in five categories.
Hot dogs & bottled water will be for sale.
Everyone has fun and all who participate are supporting our community and all are winners.
The Best in Show will be chosen from the winners of the individual categories. Spectators will choose the Fans’ Favorite and are encouraged to cheer loudly!

People sometimes ask . . .
How many dogs can be registered to compete?
The total number of dogs that we can accept is 60. We want to provide enough room for the dogs so that they are comfortable and then they will perform at their best!
This is the maximum number for the event. If you are considering entering then register early if you can!
What is the registration deadline?
All registrations must be submitted by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, August 22nd.
What about children escorting dogs?
Children who escort a dog must be 12 years of age to participate. Younger children can participate but need to be accompanied by an adult.
What are the dog owner's responsibilities?
All dogs must be on a leash.
Owners are responsible for their dogs.
We also need to keep the Woodstock Green clean. Please be prepared with your doggie clean-up bag – thanks!
Water bowls will be on the green during the event.
What about refreshments for humans?
Water will be available as well as delicious hot dogs!

By registering your dog you assume full responsibility for your dog including clean-up. You also certify that your dog is up-to-date on all required shots. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
