About The Norman Williams Public Library
The Norman Williams Public Library is both a modern facility and a historical building. It fits in perfectly with contemporary Woodstock and ties cultural, historical, and architectural aspects of Woodstock together. It focuses on providing the best modern library services to the greater Woodstock area.
The people of the town of Woodstock support the NWPL through taxes. This provides about 40% of the operating budget. The remaining budget is funded through the library’s fundraising efforts and the Friends of the Norman Williams Public Library supports the library with non-operating budget fundraising.
The Norman Williams Public Library is open to the public six days a week and for over one hundred years the Norman Williams Public Library purchased books and other materials and makes them available to area residents.
