A Tribute To Louise Schwebel

The Friends of the Norman Williams Public Library would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU! to everyone who participated in the Louise Schwebel Book Event which is now officially concluded.

Forty-two young readers visited the Woodstock, Vermont Yankee Bookshop to select a book that was paid for by the Tribute to Louise Schwebel fund.

We are especially grateful to Yankee Bookshop owners, Kari and Kristian, who discounted the books by 20% which enabled more young book readers to participate! They noted that all who came to select a book were excited about doing so and Kari and Kristian were too!

Louise is sure to smile when she receives quite a few thank-you notes written by the children. We hope receiving the notes makes her transition from Woodstock to New York City even more joyful.
