Membership Request to Vote

Jennifer Baxter attended the library trustee meeting last month. Jennifer discussed various ways that The Friends could support the library during this meeting.

One such suggestion was to fund or help fund library staff to attend special library conferences.

Subsequent to the February trustee meeting, Clare has requested our support for five staff members to attend this year’s VT Library Association Conference in Killington on May 20th.

The total cost for this event is $580.

Early bird registration is due March 22. We would appreciate your prompt response to vote for this funding.

Clare noted that it has been a few years since library staff attended this conference. Clare expressed how beneficial it is for staff to attend together.

Please vote below for five staff members to attend the VT Library Association Conference in Killington on May 20th, 2024.

If an initial vote request does not deliver a quorum, a second vote will be conducted. For this second vote, if a member does not vote, the member’s vote will be considered a vote for the majority position on the item being voted on.
